Our motive is to develop innovative action games set in iconic worlds where every player feels like the hero. Let's say that again—iconic worlds where every player feels like the hero. Our passion has taken us from imagining dogfighter pilots in Star Wars™: Squadrons to re-creating Isaac Clarke onboard the Ishimura in Dead Space™.

Currently, we're working on two exciting projects, an original Iron Man™ action-adventure game and what's coming next for Battlefield™.
We believe in sharing our passion with our community and each other, fostering an inclusive culture, and nurturing a growth mindset.
Although our approach may seem simple, it leads us to create the best work of our careers, bringing unique and immersive experiences to our players.

As an Environment Artist on our external development team, you focus on assets produced by our suite of external vendors. You will help onboard vendors, create asset briefs, review their submissions, and polish their pieces to final.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed asset briefs for external vendors.
  • Help onboard new vendors and review the asset submissions from existing vendors..
  • At times, ingest external vendor assets to the engine, and polish them to final.
  • Coordinate communication between external vendors and internal art teams.
  • Gather reference materials based on the established art direction for the project.

Qualifications:

  • Strong technical fundamentals with working knowledge of Maya, Blender or similar 3D modeling software as well as Photoshop & Substance Painter for texturing purposes.
  • Experience working with game engines like Unreal or Unity.
  • Experience working with physically based rendering pipelines.
  • Passion for pushing asset fidelity and learning new production techniques.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills.
