Senior Financial Analyst, EAIT

Austin, TX, Orlando, FL or Vancouver, BC - Hybrid

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic partnership to leaders across EA. We do this by engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help guide EA’s performance.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our EAIT Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This team helps provide budgeting, forecasting, analytical and financial support for IT. You’ll jump right in and partner with budget owners to forecast OpEx and CapEx spend for various departments, locations and projects.  Your business partners will look to you for financial support and to provide insightful reporting, analysis and strategic direction. You will report to the Director of Finance G&A and will work in a hybrid setting, located in Austin, TX, Orlando, FL, or Vancouver, BC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will deliver quarterly and annual forecasts in partnership with teams

  • Perform monthly close analysis and reporting to senior management

  • Identify risks and opportunities based on business insights

  • Focus on continuously improving efficiency, standardization and automation

  • Provide data-driven analysis to guide decision-making and value creation

  • Approve requests for Operating and Capital expenses and headcount following functional budgets

  • Ensure compliance with EA’s policies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 3+ years of experience in a divisional or corporate finance role (FP&A or accounting)

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis

  • Ability to quickly manipulate large volumes of data to find the story

  • Strong commitment to detail and accuracy

  • Effective cross-functional collaboration and business partnering

  • Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of different audiences

  • Proficiency with MS Excel and data modeling

  • Experience with Anaplan, our forecasting system

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other BI, reporting and Data visualization tools

  • Familiarity with SQL

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
