Role Overview:

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team plays a critical role in providing strategic partnership to leaders across EA. We achieve this through effectively engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analysing data, and delivering insights to help drive EA's current and future performance.

The EA SPORTS Finance Manager will provide business and finance support for our EA Codemasters teams supporting our F1 and WRC titles, and Development Creative Services team. This is a year-long assignment reporting to the EA SPORTS Finance Director of Heartbeat Portfolio, supporting the Codemasters Senior Finance Manager. This is a hybrid role.

What You'll Do:

  • Business Partnering
  • Build relationships with partners and actively collaborate to work towards meeting financial and business objectives
  • Prepare, hold, and present business reviews for leaders focused on the story (not just data) with clear insights and actionable presentation material
  • Drive results by partnering on business-related projects such as modelling business scenarios and tracking performance metrics
  • Financial Close, Forecasting, Reporting and Analysis
  • Own financial planning process including quarterly, annual, and long-range modelling for studios
  • Manage the studio P&L to track and maximise the health of the business
  • Provide deep financial analysis focused on a variety of areas such as optimizing OC and/or determining appropriate levels of investment
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities
  • Provide guidance on financial processes, building efficiencies, and streamlining deliverables
  • Design and implement reporting tools
  • Drive FP&A Excellence
  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, standardise and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes
  • Challenge status quo and provide alternative solutions

  • Passion or preference for working in game development

Preferred Experience and Technical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of related financial experience
  • Experience with P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise required, knowledge in Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau and Oracle preferred
