We’re looking for a senior engineer who thrives on building high-performance systems, transforming complex data into clarity, and driving intelligent automation that improves how engineering teams work. This role is ideal for someone who is both exploratory and grounded: curious enough to try new approaches, disciplined enough to measure results, and focused enough to ship improvements that make a real difference.

The engineer in this role will shape foundational systems, architect scalable solutions, and create automation that amplifies engineering effectiveness. They should bring strong technical depth, a bias for action, and genuine enthusiasm for workflows that get faster, simpler, and more autonomous over time. Success in this role requires a deep commitment to technical excellence, clarity, correctness, and performance, paired with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.

The ideal candidate enjoys optimizing workflows, removing friction through automation, and navigating ambiguity while keeping outcomes crisp and actionable. They communicate openly, reason collaboratively, value shared technical ownership, and are driven by curiosity, continuous learning, and a passion for building systems that make hard problems tractable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build efficient, reliable, and scalable data tools and workflows

  • Develop automation that combines data-driven insight, and AI-assisted reasoning

  • Create tools and reports that surface issues, trends, and patterns with clarity and precision

  • Move ideas from concept to prototype to production through short, focused development cycles

  • Communicate complex ideas with precision and clarity

  • Document reasoning, experiments, and patterns in clear, maintainable ways

Requirements

  • 7–15+ years of experience in systems engineering, backend engineering, or data-intensive software development

  • Strong proficiency in C++, including performance debugging and systems-level problem solving

  • Solid experience with Python, especially for data processing, analytics, and workflow automation

  • Proven ability to design and optimize complex systems, pipelines, or automation workflows

  • Strong skills in performance analysis, debugging, and problem decomposition

  • Experience building and operating production-grade data or compute systems

  • Exposure to AI-assisted workflows or intelligent automation tooling

Additional Information

  • Work spanning multiple layers of the stack, from performance-sensitive code to higher-level automation and data tooling

  • Experience improving developer workflows, operational tooling, or large-scale telemetry systems

  • Experience with data visualization, including creating clear dashboards, performance views, and exploratory analysis tools

  • Background in systems that turn large, fragmented datasets into actionable insight
