Senior Manager, Brand & Communications

Electronic Arts

Vancouver

About the Team

The Brand Communications and Impact team helps shape how Electronic Arts shows up in the world. We develop enterprise narratives, stories, and experiences that build trust and meaningful engagement with employees, players, media, investors, and the communities where we live, work, and play.

Working at the intersection of brand, communications, and social impact, we partner across EA to translate strategy into clear storytelling, credible action, and measurable outcomes. Our work supports EA's reputation, strengthens connection with our audiences, and contributes to long-term business transformation in a global context. This work plays a direct role in how we earn trust, build connection, and lead the future of interactive entertainment.

Summary

In this role, you will help the Brand, Corporate Communications and Impact (BCI) function drive strategic effectiveness and business impact by building how the team defines, measures, and demonstrates its work at the enterprise level. This net-new opportunity offers a brand and communications leader who brings a bias toward effectiveness, outcomes, and clear accountability—and motivates themselves by turning complex work into measurable results.

You will operate as a strategic partner to senior leaders across Brand, Communications, and Social Impact. You will bring structure to complexity, enable clarity in decision-making, and strengthen how the function plans, measures, and articulates its impact. We're looking for a builder who is comfortable working with data, performance frameworks, and diverse partners to connect enterprise brand and communications efforts to business priorities in meaningful ways.

You will report to the Director, EA Brand Communications. This is a hybrid position based in Vancouver.

Responsibilities

  • Build measurement and accountability frameworks that connect Brand, Communications, and Social Impact work to enterprise priorities and outcomes, including clear success metrics and operating rhythms.
  • Facilitate annual and quarterly planning, helping teams translate strategy into focused priorities, measurable goals, and clear tradeoffs.
  • Partner closely with BCI leaders to bring their teams' work into shared measurement frameworks and ensure performance data is useful, understood, and directly informs decision-making.
  • Work across functions to align Brand, Communications, and Social Impact priorities with EA's enterprise strategy, narrative, and audience needs.
  • Be an advisor to senior leaders, helping clarify the strategic “why” behind investments and approaches through clear, outcome-focused narratives.
  • Improve how results are shared and discussed, developing reporting frameworks and materials that centre progress and impact—and shift conversations from activity to outcomes.

Qualifications

  • You bring 8 or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience, in strategy, brand, communications, business operations, consulting, or a related field, ideally within a large, matrixed organization.
  • You have a strong understanding of marketing and communications effectiveness, including outcome-based measurement frameworks and how to evaluate impact.
  • You have experience facilitating annual and quarterly planning that helps teams align around priorities, make tradeoffs, and track progress.
  • You are comfortable operating as a strategic integrator, connecting enterprise strategy, team priorities, and performance insights in evolving environments.
  • You act as a thought partner to senior leaders, bringing clarity, structure, and perspective to complex decisions.
  • You communicate clearly and effectively, with experience developing narratives and materials for executive and senior audiences.
  • You take a proactive, collaborative approach, building partnerships across teams to advance shared goals.
  • Experience in brand or communications strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, or business planning is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

  • Brand, Communications, and Social Impact teams share a clear, consistent framework for defining success and measuring outcomes aligned to EA's enterprise strategy.
  • BCI leaders are able to plan, prioritize, and make decisions with confidence, using shared goals, relevant data, and an ongoing focus on learning and progress—not activity alone.
  • Brand, Communications, and Social Impact work is well understood, credible, and valued at the enterprise level for its contribution to EA's business and long-term priorities.
