Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations People Experience

Location: North America (Vancouver / EA Redwood City) Hybrid work model

Reporting to: Chief of Staff, People Experience

Role Summary

You will help translate People Experience's strategic direction into clear, relevant plans that guide how the function operates. While the Chief of Staff sets the operational direction for the function, you will operationalize that direction. You will build the systems, and operating rhythms that allow execution and measurable impact.

You will be an important partner to the People Leadership Team, working with them and their Chiefs of Staff to understand their priorities and ensure an integrated plan exists across the function. You will maintain a coordinated portfolio of work, support planning cycles, and ensure leaders have the visibility and frameworks needed to make informed decisions. By serving as a connective hub across People Experience, you will ensure that we meet our goals and maintain operational discipline.

What You'll Do

Strategy Execution

● Support the processes by which People Experience sets annual priorities, critical outcomes, and success measures.

● Translate strategic direction into a clear, integrated work plan that guides teams and aligns execution across the function.

● Maintain and review the full portfolio of People Experience work, identifying risks, gaps, dependencies, and resource needs.

Integration & Collaboration

● Serve as a critical integration point across the function identifying opportunities for collaboration and operational efficiency.

● Partner with the Senior Communications Manager to ensure communication flows are connected to and consistent with the Management Operating System (MOS).

Management Operating System & Governance

● Maintain governance structures and operating rhythms to support strategic execution and organisational clarity.

Meetings, Workshop & Facilitation Leadership

● Co-Facilitate People Experience wide meetings, planning sessions, and workshops to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.

● Support Chief of Staff to design agendas, materials, and facilitation approaches that create clarity, understanding, and action.

About You

You are:

● Effective at shaping functional strategy and translating it into clear plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes.

● Experienced in leading portfolio management and operational planning processes.

● A integrator who connects work with multiple teams and builds agreement across senior leaders.

● Can facilitate executive-level discussions and simplify complexity for decision-making.

● Known for driving structure and clarity without slowing the business down.

● Uses data, visuals, and insights to support decisions and shape compelling narratives.


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$130,800 - $183,000 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$150,100 - $228,000 USD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.  
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
