Reports To: Senior Development Director, APAC


Work Arrangement: Onsite in Shanghai.


Job Summary: EA Create APAC is looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team. This role is important in ensuring our Studio operational success, by defining and managing processes across several departments. You have a background in operations management, in building and growing talent, and experience with the gaming industry.


Main Responsibilities: 

Your work will involve managing our daily Studio operations to ensure efficient workflows, while developing operational strategies that align with EA Create APAC's goals. 

You will partner with the Create Resource Management Organization (RMO) to support wider Create processes and projects. 

You will work with a diverse group of teams (such as Finance, Workplace, Talent Acquisition, and People Practices) to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies. 

You will manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. 

You will manage projects to enhance our game partner's satisfaction and engagement. 

You will also manage Studio scalability processes for contingent resourcing and 3rd party vendors (in partnership with External Development).


Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; 

MBA, CPA/CMA, and PMP/Scrum a bonus. 

7+ years of experience in operations management/project management within the gaming or tech industry. 

Experience managing teams. 

Experience using analytics to solve operational challenges. 

Experience communicating and collaborating within a global organization. 

Proficiency in project management tools and software. 

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
