This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).


Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) Engineering at EA ensures game excellence through advanced software solutions. To increase innovation, at QVS, we are building the Quality Technology Platform (QTP)—an internal developer platform that reduces duplication, improves developer experience, and enables reusable, secure solutions across studios.


As Sr Platform Engineer, reporting to the Sr Delivery Manager, you will implement pipelines and user interfaces for QTP.


Responsibilities:

  • You will design and write and document well-designed and tested code for pipeline modules and user interfaces

  • You will follow coding standards and support teammates in following them

  • You will participate in code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions

  • You will build user interfaces and CLIs for client teams to onboard and configure their applications on QTP

  • You will investigate and document pipeline incidents.

  • You will align work with the technical vision set by the Lead Platform Engineer and Platform Architect and work with team members to align their contributions to it.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience developing software

  • 3+ years of experience with web frameworks, such as Angular or React

  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab

  • Experience with software testing principles, such as unit testing, integration testing and performance testing

  • Experience with common scripting languages, such as Python and JavaScript

  • Familiarity with DevOps and containerization technologies
