Senior Producer - EA SPORTS™


EA SPORTS is one of the leading sports entertainment brands in the world, with top-selling videogame franchises, award-winning interactive technology, fan programs, and cross-platform digital experiences. We are looking for a Lead Producer for a project within EA SPORTS. Lead and inspire a talented development team to deliver exceptional sports gaming experiences. As Lead Producer, you will own the product vision, define the roadmap, and drive day-to-day execution, ensuring alignment with business goals. Deep knowledge and a genuine passion for sports is a requirement. Reporting to the VP of the business unit, you will be a key leader in shaping the future of this sports title.


Responsibilities: As a Lead Producer

  • You are the creative center and vision-holder for the business. You motivate and empower creative talent on the team to build that vision.

  • Work with Production, Art, Design, and Engineering leads to improve quality, communication and coordination.

  • Partner with Development Directors to manage the project schedule, milestones and sprint deliverables.

  • Partner with Art, UX, Engineering, QA, and Design teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables are met.

  • Engage with other partner teams including publishing, marketing, finance, legal, consumer insights, and game analytics.

  • You will be the bridge between the Design team, Technical team and Project Managers, overseeing what experiences we build, why we build them, and managing the delivery of them to our players.

  • You foster a culture of analytically driven design while constantly driving toward improving KPIs.

  • Guide team culture as part of the leadership team to build a highly engaged team.

  • Champion the professional development of your people and ensure that EA continues to employ the very best individuals.

  • Lead your team and beyond. You will be the spokesperson for your business around the company and outside EA.

  • You can passionately articulate goals and team principles to help form a stimulating and fun work environment.


Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in setting strategic direction.

  • 5+ years' experience as a Lead Producer on a AAA game franchise (or equivalent experience)

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality AAA entertainment experiences.

  • Experience leading other leaders from various job disciplines (i.e. Software Engineers, Artists, Designers, Audio Specialists, Senior Project Managers, and Associate Producers) within one location and/or globally.

  • You understand the motivations of your player base and can assess innovation to deliver upon expectations.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $179,900 - $249,800 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
