  • Work closely across the EA Orlando studio teams, providing product counsel support for Madden, College, and other titles, providing guidance on the legal and regulatory aspects of game development, beginning with early-stage game development through live services and ultimately delisting/sunset of game titles.
  • Provide commercial transactional support for game teams, which includes drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements (e.g., game-specific marketing agreements, technology and content license agreements) and guidance regarding the interpretation of these agreements, considering legal, business and relationship risks.
  • Build strong partnerships with game teams and legal colleagues.

The next great Senior Product Counsel needs:

  • B.A/B.S., J.D. or similar international qualifications and membership in a State Bar or equivalent international qualification required.
  • Ten years or more years of relevant experience, either in-house and/or at a law firm. Prior experience advising product development teams in the consumer or technology space.
  • Working knowledge of privacy, ecommerce, intellectual property, consumer protection, sports league, talent, and marketing laws and regulations.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, communicates well with business and legal colleagues, able to balance legal and business needs, and think strategically about progressing the business.
  • Comfortable and adept at balancing legal risk and thinking creatively to propel the business forward and ensure smart decisions.
  • We recognize that you may not have all of the experiences listed above, but if you have similar experiences and a high interest in the position, please apply.
