The Senior Publishing Manager, FPS Games (China) will report to the Head of Entertainment Publishing.


Responsibilities:

Market & Product Research

l You will monitor China and global FPS game market trends, with a focus on core player demands, monetization models and competitive landscape across sub-genres like tactical shooters, hero shooters and battle royales

l You will analyze genre evolution paths of leading FPS franchises, and track gameplay improvement trends in both global and Chinese markets


Product Strategy Development

l You will deconstruct core game loops, meta systems and player retention mechanisms of successful FPS titles for us.

l You will develop FPS-specific product evaluation frameworks and localization best practices for us.


Cross-regional Coordination

l You will lead agreement between global development and China publishing teams

l You will manage localization processes including cultural adaptation


Data-driven Decision Making

l You will integrate market data, operational metrics and competitor intelligence

l You will establish product health monitoring systems


Executive Reporting

l You will produce professional research reports and presentations

l You will present recommendations to senior leadership


Qualifications:

l 5+ years in the game industry with proven experience in FPS game publishing, including full product lifecycle management.

l Deep and demonstrated understanding of renowned FPS games, covering their gameplay mechanics, esports ecosystems, community culture and global market performance.

l Hands-on experience operating at least one well-known international IP FPS game through the publishing lifecycle.

l Preferred experience working in multinational game companies.

l In-depth understanding of the China FPS game market, including player demographics, regulatory environment, competitive dynamics and preferences.

l Experience in Steam product operations, especially for FPS titles.

l Proficient in tools and methodologies

l Excellent collaboration skills

l Native Chinese and fluent business English
