EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment - connecting hundreds of millions around the world to the sports they love through a portfolio of industry-leading video games.

Our Quality Council, which is part of the EA Sports FC team, concentrates on player-focused testing and providing feedback on new features to our Producers. You will report to the Head of Experiential Quality for FC. You will communicate with producers and provide feedback on our FC game, to help improve the player experience. Your team will be part of a Quality Council, consisting of members of the QA and Production teams. For this role we are looking for FC experts who play the game daily and at a high level. Typically, daily tasks can include playtesting FC, suggesting improvements to benefit players, and reporting issues you find in the game.

This will be a 12-month contract position, working fully onsite from our office in Burnaby.

Requirements & Responsibilities

You will work with a Quality Designer as your contact.

You are a hardcore fan of FC, and an avid football (soccer) fan.

An understanding of how to provide actionable feedback, both verbally and written.

No previous games testing experience is necessary.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$50,400 - $66,600 CAD

 In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
