This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

We are looking for a QA Lead to join our Skate team in Bogota, Colombia.


You will lead the execution of the end-to-end Quality Verification strategy through close support and mentorship of our Quality Verification Feature owners and Craft Leaders. With an eye for improvement opportunities, you will lead the advancement of our Quality Verification processes, workflows and guide their implementation. You will report to our Quality Assurance Development Director.


Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of quality strategies utilizing your expertise in software testing and analysis of qualitative feedback

  • Design and apply strategies and processes to enhance quality throughout all teams

  • Accountable for the identification, escalation and mitigation of risks in your focus areas

  • Interpret data from numerous sources to produce clear, relevant information, informing decisions to improve product quality and QA service delivery

  • Translate project metrics into data-driven decisions and strategies

  • Work with other team members and partners to solve problems and improve processes

  • Be the QA representative in meetings, offering insights, leading quality discussions, sharing information, and identifying potential risks

  • Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategies

  • Lead improvements and knowledge sharing across teams

  • Manage, mentor and support QA team members

  • Conduct performance reviews, support career development and ensure proper training


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or game design

  • Experience planning and executing a test strategy and tasks using Scrum/agile process

  • 2+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proven ability to translate project metrics into data-driven decisions and strategies

  • Excellent collaboration and communication across disparate locations and cultures
