We’re looking for a Social Media & Community Strategist to help us take Plants vs. Zombies and other beloved IPs to the next level of cultural relevance and fan engagement.
Role Summary
Are you a strategic, culturally plugged-in social media leader who thrives at the intersection of community, creative, and brand? We’re seeking a Social Media & Community Strategist to lead the end-to-end social strategy and implementation for the Plants vs. Zombies franchise.
This is a role within the franchise brand team. You’ll be responsible for scaling and energizing the PvZ global community, driving platform-specific growth, managing cross-functional expertise, and developing bold, performance-driven content strategies. You’ll champion the creative voice of the franchise across platforms and work closely with community managers, social creatives, and external agencies to ensure PvZ shows up with wit, relevance, and impact.
This role will act as the franchise’s social architect and performance guardian, with a deep understanding of content trends, platform shifts, community culture, and gaming fandom.

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
