Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager – U.S. International Planning to support our Tax Strategy and Policy function within the world-wide EA tax team. You will report to the Tax Director – Policy & Strategy. With your background in international tax law and planning, you can navigate complex tax issues and provide strategic guidance. Your understanding of U.S. international tax regulations will help guide our tax strategies and ensure compliance. You will have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams across broader business organizations, identifying and accomplished in conveying complex tax topics to executives that affect global businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain tax policies and procedures. Help guide and implement our U.S. international tax strategy.
  • Assist the team in monitoring upcoming Pillar 2 requirements, including coordinating with functional leaders to evaluate tax impact and reporting requirements from latest Pillar 2 legislative developments.
  • Review, model, and communicate the tax technical, economic, business, and financial statement impacts of new or proposed global tax laws.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment on tax strategies and compliance requirements, providing technical support to each specialized area and tax strategy.
  • Advise on strategic transactions and reorganizations provide M&A support including structuring transactions, perform due diligence, communicate tax risks, transaction structuring, and integrating operations from a tax perspective while communicating the economics of after-tax cash flows.
  • Collaborate with other internal/external tax resources to manage and produce all required tax disclosures and perform technical tax review of transactions to optimize tax savings to the company.
  • Collaborate with internal customers, including Finance, Legal and international colleagues on joint projects to resolve issues as it relates to tax strategy.
  • Support tax analysis of global mobility and future of work programs.
  • Review worldwide commercial contracts for tax consequences.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years in U.S. international tax experience of combined accounting firm, law firm, corporate tax
  • Deep technical knowledge and ability to direct the completion of complex business transactions, income tax accounting and reporting items, and research projects.
  • Experienced background with US federal, state and international tax.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in communicating tax issues and analysis.
  • Expert analytical and tax research skills.
  • Precise with details and project management leadership experience
  • Demonstrated modeling ability of tax attribute and optimization strategies.
  • Demonstrated credibility building skills with many different departments, navigating complex issues, and meeting project deliverables

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $138,200 - $219,000 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
