Senior Video Editor

What a Video Editor does at EA:

As a Senior Video Editor, you will report to the Lead Video Editor and work with a creative team of artists to ensure our marketing content is delivered at the highest quality and competed on a world class level. You will take the lead in driving the creative vision and direction of video projects, overseeing the editing process from concept to final delivery. Act as the primary editor for key projects, showcasing your expertise in storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics. Additionally, provide guidance and direction to other video editors, inspiring them to deliver their best work and ensuring the cohesion and consistency of the project.


Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content for several platforms, such as social media, websites, and television

  • Collaborate with creative teams, including writers, producers, and creatives, to develop video concepts and implement them

  • Incorporate feedback from Producers and Creatives and make necessary revisions to ensure the final product meets their expectations

  • Ensure the video content aligns with brand guidelines and visual standards\


Required Qualifications:

  • An editor with a track-record of delivering multiple successful projects.

  • 7+ years' experience, ideally in a senior role.

  • Experience cutting picture, sound and music within a commercial environment.

  • Motion graphic skills.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of American football and its culture, with the ability to apply this understanding to enhance and create engaging, relevant content..

  • Deep passion and insight into the latest trends, techniques, and social networks.

  • Solution focused with the ability to dive technically deep while still focused on deadlines.

  • Storytelling editing skills.

  • Experience with multiple formats and can identify graphical, editorial trends.

  • Sets clear priorities to complete work tasks, allocating resources efficiently

  • Deep knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects and solid knowledge of Creative Suite.

  • Solid knowledge of computers and video post technology, pipelines, and workflows.


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$91,100 - $126,900 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
