The Challenge Ahead

As a Software Developer on Creative Innovation's Audio team, you will contribute to a large-scale AI-enabled audio initiative focused on evaluation and workflow integration across EA. You will build tools and systems that connect audio expertise with modern technologies, helping teams adopt improved workflows.

Daily, you will…

  • Design and implement audio tools, pipelines, and workflows that integrate AI capabilities, improving iteration speed and usability for audio artists
  • Develop systems to evaluate audio model outputs, helping define quality standards and identify improvements
  • Contribute to data workflows, including annotation and dataset curation
  • Partner with audio engineers, technical artists, and other partners to align technical solutions with creative goals
  • Report to a Senior Development Director

You are / you have …

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, including audio pipelines, data workflows, or related tooling
  • Experience building solutions in Python, C#, C++, or TypeScript
  • Experience integrating with back-end systems through REST, gRPC, SDKs, or AI services
  • Experience building automated workflows spanning local applications, AI models, and cloud services
  • Experience with AI workflows, including model evaluation, data annotation, or dataset curation
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience

Bonus if you have …

  • Experience with AI/ML Ops, model orchestration, prompt engineering, or local inference systems
  • Familiarity with audio analysis, signal processing, or audio quality evaluation
  • Experience building internal tools with WPF
  • Web development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and REST/gRPC integrations
  • Experience with CI/CD and version control tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
  • Familiarity with audio engines, middleware, or game engine architectures
  • Proficiency in C# or C++ and desktop frameworks for production-quality tools

 


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$122,300 - $170,700 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
