About the Team

Electronic Arts creates connected experiences that inspire players around the world. Within EA, GDX Service Operations supports the internal ecosystem used by teams building and delivering games. This includes operational workflows, support processes, and evolving digital experiences that help internal users work more efficiently.

We are looking for a senior engineer who can help build the next phase of our AI Ops platform by connecting AI capabilities with the internal systems and workflows that power game creation operations.

Role Overview

As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will design and build product and platform capabilities across backend services, web applications, enterprise integrations, and AI-enabled workflows.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys building internal products that combine structured workflows with intelligent analysis. You should be comfortable working across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and data-driven services while keeping usability, reliability, and trust front and center.

You will report to the Senior Manager, AI Solutions, and Insights.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support AI-enabled workflows and operational automation.
  • Develop web application capabilities and user-facing workflows that make internal tools usable, reliable, and scalable.
  • Build integrations with internal products and enterprise platforms using structured APIs and secure service-to-service patterns.
  • Implement AI-enabled workflows such as retrieval, classification, summarization, and contextual analysis in a way that is reliable and understandable to end users.
  • Contribute to platform architecture, observability, reliability, security, and maintainability across services and applications.
  • Partner with AI, operations, product, and engineering teams to shape requirements and deliver production-ready capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience building scalable backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries such as React or Angular.
  • Strong experience with backend languages such as Python or C#.
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as Django or ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience working with databases such as Postgres, MySQL, or Redis.
  • Experience building and deploying applications on Azure.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools including CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows such as LLM-driven extraction, classification, retrieval, summarization, or human-in-the-loop review.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX fundamentals and building software that is usable and trusted by real teams.
  • Experience designing software that is scalable, observable, secure, and maintainable.

What Success Looks Like

  • In the first few months, you will help strengthen and extend the current platform into more robust production-ready services and user experiences.
  • Over time, you will help deliver a scalable internal platform that connects AI capabilities with operational workflows, improves automation, and enables more intelligent support experiences across teams.

Who You Are

You are a product-minded engineer who can move comfortably between backend systems, frontend development, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows. You care about building reliable software, but you also care about making the output usable and trusted by real teams. You enjoy turning ambiguous operational pain points into practical product capabilities.
