The Mobile Technology & Analytics (MTA) team is looking for an experienced client software engineer to build reusable systems that support our portfolio of world-class mobile games. You will collaborate with Software Engineers, Development Directors, and Technical Leads to create solutions for mobile games using modern technologies and frameworks.

In this role, you'll be a key enabler for game development teams, working across both legacy systems and new projects within EA. This position requires strong collaboration skills as you'll work closely with multiple game teams and mobile central technology teams. You will report to a Lead Software Engineer.


Responsibilities

        Hands-on coding and contributing to release management for C++/C# projects targeting mobile platforms (Android, iOS).

        Contribute to central SDKs and client-side systems, developing and maintaining shared libraries to support multiple game teams.

        Develop stable, scalable, and efficient client code using software engineering design patterns and paradigms for mobile platforms.

        Write high-quality code and participate in code reviews to maintain development standards.

        Resolve defects during QA testing and support production deployment cycles (live games and mobile platforms environments).

        Support game teams with the integration of various central SDKs, enabling faster development and allowing teams to focus on game-specific features.

        Contribute to both existing system enhancements and the development of new greenfield projects.

        Collaborate on mobile-specific optimizations, including performance and memory management.

        Work and collaborate within a distributed team across multiple time zones.


Requirements

        B.Tech or Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent work experience.

        2+ years of professional experience in a software engineering role.

        Proficiency in C++ and C#.

        Experience with mobile platforms Android and iOS.

        Experience with Git or a similar distributed source management system.

        Experience with mobile build systems (Gradle for Android, Xcode for iOS) or similar build systems.

        Understanding of mobile platform-specific considerations (memory constraints, platform APIs).

        Strong communication skills.



Nice to Haves

        Familiarity with mobile game development.

        Working knowledge of any game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.).

        Experience with Java, Objective-C, or Swift for mobile development.

        Experience with mobile cross-platform SDK development, distribution, and integration with 1st party platforms, Google, Apple.

        Familiarity with AI code-assisting tools or agentic workflows.
