We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer who loves building smart solutions to solve complex problems with some of the most modern technologies on the market today while supporting the development and test automation teams in their efforts to release world-class solutions.
The Software Engineer will report to the Technical Director.
This role is hybrid remote/in-office based in our Vancouver offices.
Responsibilities
Work with development and quality verification teams in an Agile Scrum environment to design and improve reliable tools, tests and platforms
Develop tools and systems to support UI testing
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and remotely to help find automation opportunities
Continuously improve existing automation systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
Qualifications:
3+ years of C++ experience in development
Game Design Experience
Understanding of latest UI technologies, including development of UI frameworks
Good understanding of software development life cycle, software engineering methodologies and software quality assurance concepts and technologies
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab and Jenkins
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
