The Challenge Ahead

Playdemic  - Acquired by EA in 2021, Playdemic is home to the top 10 grossing, BAFTA-winning mobile smash – Golf Clash. Having opened at the beginning of 2020, our award-winning, bespoke studio space offers conventional desk space as well as indulgent breakout areas, meeting rooms and alternative workspaces. The office has been ridgeline-designed to create an environment that encourages and allows our team to do their very best work.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Lead Server Side Developer, you will develop REST APIs to handle client requests and manage user data

  • You will design and manage databases to keep track of persistent data

  • Develop large-scale data systems

  • You will create web-based tools that are used to test and administrate features

  • Write high quality, well implemented code

 

Qualifications:

  • You are currently studying at a university/vocational school that has a planned internship period (not a graduate).

  • You are available to commence a full-time, 12 month placement in July 2025

  • You are located and eligible to work in Manchester, UK without the need for visa/relocation support

 

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of C# .NET

  • Experience with the MVC pattern

  • Understanding of relational & non-relational databases
