Software Engineer Intern 

Contract: Temporary Full-Time - 4 months

Location: Bucharest

The Challenge Ahead

Join the Game Creation team as a Software Engineer Intern, where you'll help designing and building enterprise-level solutions for Application Lifecycle Management. You’ll help expand the capabilities of our UX Web App Designer, a tool that empowers EA’s game teams to improve their workflows. Using a cloud-first approach, your work will directly influence the efficiency of game development processes across EA. You’ll collaborate with a global team and report to the Senior Engineering Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Software Engineers to maintain the UX Web App Designer, an internally developed tool.
  • Develop tools, workflows, and features to support the team's development efforts.
  • Solve, and resolve technical issues as assigned, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Participate in code reviews and help improve the team's development practices.


Qualifications:

  • You are studying at a university/vocational school that has a planned internship period (not a graduate).
  • You are available to commence a full-time, 4 month placement in Bucharest.
  • You are located and eligible to work in Bucharest without the need for visa/relocation support.
  • You are comfortable collaborating with a globally distributed team across multiple time zones (Europe, Latin America, and North America).


Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Web development using Javascript, HTML & CSS.
  • Familiarity with C# and .NET, with a willingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge.

  • Experience with Git.

  • A basic understanding of cloud concepts (Azure, AWS etc.)
