Software Engineer .NET, Game Creation

This exciting role offers the opportunity to develop and support enterprise-scale software applications used to create games and to collaborate with game teams across the company on popular titles including FC, Apex, Madden, Battlefield, NHL, Skate, and more. Reporting to a Senior Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Contribute to the design, development, and testing of new features for internal tools and systems

  • Collaborate with teammates and product leads to define technical requirements and implement solutions

  • Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and Agile ceremonies

  • Support the deployment and maintenance of enterprise applications in production environments

  • Troubleshoot issues, assist internal users, and continuously improve system reliability

  • Learn and apply best practices related to architecture, DevOps, and code quality

  • After a few months of onboarding and gaining product understanding, participate in a production support rotation, typically once every 3–5 weeks, to help ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience developing enterprise-level solutions

  • 1-3+ years of experience with source control management systems (e.g., Git, Perforce)

  • 1-3+ years of experience with SDLC/ALM tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Artifactory

  • 1-3+ years of experience with .NET web development tools: .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5+, CSS3+, JavaScript, REST APIs, jQuery

  • 1-2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools

  • 1-2+ years of experience in database development

  • 1+ years of experience with JavaScript UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Node.js, or Telerik/Kendo

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS; certification a plus)

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience

Nice To have:

  • Exposure to automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform)

  • Exposure to container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

  • Cloud Certifications in Azure (preferred) or AWS.
