The Challenge Ahead

Join the Game Creation team in a technical role, designing and building enterprise-level solutions for Application Lifecycle Management. You'll integrate custom and packaged applications with tools like Slack, JIRA, and GitLab, using a cloud-first approach with Azure, AWS, and Google. Lead agile teams to support thousands of users and collaborate with game teams across EA, including FIFA, Madden, and Battlefield. You'll report to an Engineering Manager.

 

Key Responsibilities

  •  Develop solutions as part of the game development application services portfolio that are modular, portable, testable and reliable
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback on design and implementation to help others improve coding skills
  •  Oversee support and administrative actions related to the installation and maintenance of production systems
  •  Use the cloud automation computing and configuration as code
  •  After a training period of 6 months or more, you will be included in the off-hours on-callrotation, requiring occasional off-hours work.

 

Job qualifications and requirements

  •   3+ years of experience developing enterprise level solutions
  •   3+ years of experience with .NET web development, including .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Core WebAPI, HTML 5+, CSS3+, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery
  •   3+ years of experience in database development, Azure SQL
  •   3+ years of experience with virtualization and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
  •   3+ years of source control management experience
  •   3+ years of experience with enterprise SDLC/ALM tools, such as JIRA, Perforce, Artifactory, AzureDevOps, Gitlab
  •   3+ years of experience with automated build pipelines, continuous integration, and continuousdeployment, ADO Pipelines and Gitlab.
  •  1+ years of experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

 

Preferred requirements

  •  Experience with multiple project management models (specifically Agile)
  •  Experience developing automation solutions using tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform
  •  Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  •  Azure certifications
