Description & Requirements

Main Responsibilities  

  • Build scalable Python applications.

  • Utilize expertise in AWS services to architect cloud-based solutions.

  • Yours expertise in implementing AWS core services (e.g., EC2, ALB, ELB, EBS, IAM, S3, VPC, Cloud Trail, Cloud Watch) and working with AWS CloudFormation.

  • Yours Expertise implementing CI/CD systems and methodologies on AWS.

  • Yours knowledge of DevOps principles and the use of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket.

  • You will build and designed micro-services backend with Serverless and Serverless frameworks.

  • Have expertise in Databases with relational like MySQL, SQL Server, such as DynamoDB, Pouch DB & cache storage like Redis, Memcached.

  • Your experience with GCP, AZURE, AWS - Utilities such as Webpack, Git, Rollup and basic exposure on testing suites will be added advantage to the team.

  • Has understanding of patterns like Observer, Dependency of Injection, Factory

  • Collaborate with teams to define solutions for our software needs.

  • Work with partners to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the quality and performance of the software.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to improve software development processes.

  • Follow company guidelines for programming and documentation.

  • Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.

  • Offer support by responding to system problems.

  • You will be reporting to the Sr Manager responsible for Data & Insights

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role.

  • Experience as a Senior Python Developer with 6 years of hands-on development experience.

  • AWS Certification is a great plus

  • Proficiency in Python and experience with popular frameworks such as Django or Flask.

  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and experience with cloud-based architecture

  • Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices

  • Experience with database systems, both SQL and NoSQL

  • Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners
