Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment – we connect hundreds of millions around the world to the sports they love through a portfolio of industry-leading video games.

The Role

We're looking for a Program Manager to join the EA Sports Central Operations team and lead the EA SPORTS’ Software Engineering Academy, a unique 12-month development program focused on growing emerging software engineering talent. You will have program ownership: from execution to cohort engagement, performance support, and future program evolution.

You will report to the Head of Operations for EA Sports Central Operations, work onsite/hybrid at our Burnaby location, be at a manager-equivalent level (without direct reports), and collaborate with Game Teams, Talent Acquisition, Engineering, and People Experience in your role.

Responsibilities

  • You will complete delivery of the first iteration of the EA SPORTS SE Academy, ensuring high-quality execution of the program as designed, while building a strong understanding of program goals, indicators, and structure.

  • You will build relationships with program participants and their managers to support development, engagement, and program outcomes.

  • You will continuously assess program effectiveness, using feedback and performance data to improve program structure, participant experience, and delivery approach.

  • You will lead regular updates to the program’s instructional content and curriculum, incorporating both technical and soft skill elements.

  • You will plan and coordinate the logistics and delivery of workshops, hands-on learning sessions, and program events, in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ensuring seamless execution.

  • You will collaborate with Heads of Operations on staffing strategy and partner with Talent Acquisition, People Experience, Communications, and Game Team managers to attract top talent and ensure a smooth transition from Academy candidate to participant.

  • You will work with Academy managers to support consistency in performance management to ensure successful outcomes in quarterly conversations, feedback, and focal planning.

Ideal Background

You will bring:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Several years focused on talent, learning, or program operations work, especially onboarding, training, or development programs with early career talent.

  • Experience supporting a program through more than one full cycle or iteration.

  • Experience working in creative, technical environments where people and process intersect - such as games, VFX, animation, tech, or tech-adjacent industries.

Our Benefits Include:

  • Extended health care coverage
