The Information Technology group (EAIT) works as a global team to empower EA's employees and business operations to be creative, collaborative, and productive. As a digital entertainment company, EA's enterprise technology needs are diverse and span across game development, workforce collaboration, marketing, publishing, player experience, security, and corporate activities. The IT Software License Administrator oversees the software licenses of the IT Pillar contracts as required. They facilitate the assignment of licenses as needed and act as a central point of contact for queries on licenses managed and usage trending. They also monitor software contract key event communications, reporting any gaps, risks, concerns, or necessary action to the contract owner.  The Software License Administrator will be part of the IT Business Management team, reporting to the Director of Product & Customer Success.

 Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up to date software contract inventory for IT pillars as required by each pillar.
  • Provide connected visibility and communication for IT pillar contract owners to enable successful facilitation of key contract events such as True Up, Renewal and Charge backs etc. in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Be the data provider for key contract events to inform current state usage for the contract owner, finance, and any other relevant parties.
  • Monitor the software license consumption and alert relevant parties if this goes outside of the set tolerance levels, identifying any gaps or risks which would require action.
  • Work closely with the SAM Customer Success Managers to facilitate audit or compliance reviews for the contracts managed as needed.
  • Act as a central point of contact to provide support and guidance to EA Employees on software license provisioning or deprovisioning process and queries.
  • Work with the contract owner to highlight opportunities to automate licensing processes or surface any issues with how the current licensing workflows are being executed.
  • Prepare and maintain the software license reports to trend usage on a monthly cadence.


The next great Software License Administrator needs:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer facing IT service role.
  • Knowledge of asset management lifecycle and discipline.
  • Proficiency in using the license management tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
