Sr. Content Strategist (UX and eCommerce)

In your role as Sr. UX Content Strategist, you will drive content strategy and related initiatives for one of our core products, our PC platform store and launcher, and adjacent opportunities.
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Content Strategist to join our team, someone who has demonstrated success in leading content strategies for digital products, experiences, and ecommerce platforms that work with multiple franchises. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading content strategies that drive digital product success and deliver the right content to players at the right time. They will excel in developing content models and information architecture that support the strategy vision. By fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity, they will enhance collaboration across business, product, and engineering teams.

What you’ll do
Lead eCommerce Content Strategy efforts across teams, serving as the face of content strategies for our platform, ensuring our franchises come to life and meet player and business goals
Connect content decisions to insight through experimentation and user research, driving measurable business results
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and users to develop content management tools, processes, and systems that enhance customer-facing digital experiences
Communicate your ideas and design rationale effectively to leadership and key partners, advocating for strategic content initiatives
Demonstrate expertise in campaign design, marketing orchestration, information architecture, and strategic content delivery
Lead content design initiatives to bring your strategy to life within key destinations, aligning with franchise goals, and working closely with our product management, content, and design teams
Show value in content through metrics, revenue generation, optimization, user research, and testing methodologies
Build strong, trusting relationships with your product team and partners across the organization
Qualifications
You have a degree in marketing, business, economics, research, communications, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
5+ years industry experience in eCommerce content, UX content strategy, or commercial marketing/merchandising strategy
You are fluent in multiple content, analytics, and experimentation platform, tools, and methodologies and have expertise around when to apply one over another
You can show prior work examples of insight or analysis you’ve led and the impact of your findings, with a demonstrated ability to influence product team leadership and evolve the product or customer experience at large
Interest in gaming or the gaming industry is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
