Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to shape intuitive, high-quality player experiences and help guide the UX discipline within the team. In this role, you’ll drive UX direction for major features, elevate design standards, collaborate across disciplines, and mentor other designers to strengthen the overall craft and process.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate product goals and UX best practices into clear design direction for features.
  • Lead exploration, prototyping, and iteration to solve complex UX problems end-to-end.
  • Present and contextualize designs to multidisciplinary teams, guiding discussions toward alignment and shared goals.
  • Develop deep product and player expertise - especially elder-game motivations and lifecycle need.
  • Partner closely with art, engineering, PM, production, and design leads to align on goals, scope, and priorities.
  • Shape feature foundations through user flows, architecture, interaction patterns, and early design artifacts.
  • Own and evolve the game’s design system, drive consistency and best practices across the product.
  • Validate designs through prototypes, usability tests, and structured UX review processes.
  • Plan and sequence UX tasks across sprints, prioritizing work to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
  • Deliver high-quality layouts, IA, and visual standards that set the bar for UX/UI craft.
  • Ensure implementation quality through audits, reviews, and collaboration with development partners.
  • Provide feedback, mentor junior and mid-level UX designers, and contribute to building a healthy, high-performing design team.
  • Influence design rituals, processes, and workflows, helping refine how UX collaborates across the studio.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of UX experience, ideally within games or interactive products.
  • Experience working on mobile F2P games from concept through live service.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, flows, prototypes, UI craft, and polished final execution.
  • Deep expertise in interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual fundamentals.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to guide discussions and build consensus.
  • Experience mentoring designers and contributing to craft growth within a team.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Miro, and modern UX workflows.
  • A player-first mindset with strong understanding of motivation models and live-service UX behavior.
