We are looking for a Sr. Manager of FC User Acquisition/Performance Media to join the Live Service Marketing Organization. You will report into the Director FC Performance Media, and be directly responsible for growing FC on console and PC. 

Responsibilities

  • Seek out performance media solutions to critical business challenges, leveraging data, insights, and innovation to drive franchise growth and achieve business goals.

  • Partner with Brand, Product Marketing, Channel, Creative, and Studio teams to shape and execute go-to-market strategies across Console and PC.

  • Collaborate with Analytics and Finance partners to refine ROAS and LTV models, ensuring investments are optimized for both efficiency and revenue impact.

  • Manage a high-performing team of data-driven marketers specializing in user acquisition for FC on Console and PC, fostering curiosity, collaboration, and performance excellence.

  • Develop and evolve paid user acquisition strategies that anticipate shifts in privacy regulation, leverage AI-driven optimization, and integrate deep lifecycle management approaches.

  • Act as a change agent with key advertising partners, influencing platform roadmaps and introducing new capabilities that better meet evolving business demands.

  • Drive continuous improvement in media performance strategies to maximize player growth, engagement, and monetization across live service and premium business models.

  • Craft and deliver clear, data-driven narratives to senior stakeholders, translating complex performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

  • Establish operational excellence through effective budget management, campaign forecasting, and post campaign analysis to inform future investment decisions.

  • Champion test-and-learn culture in collaboration with Creative and Analytics teams, identifying new opportunities for optimization across channels, audiences, and creative formats.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, managing demand generation and player acquisition funnels across PC, Console, and Mobile game ecosystems.

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including team management, mentorship, and talent development within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

  • Proven track record managing large-scale media budgets for AAA or globally recognized titles, with clear success driving profitable user growth and ROI.

  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to connect marketing performance to business outcomes and solve complex cross-functional challenges..

  • Deep expertise in user acquisition algorithms, measurement frameworks, and creative optimization best practices, with familiarity across key ad platforms and attribution tools.

  • Collaborative communicator who can influence and align stakeholders across Brand, Studio, Analytics, and Finance functions.

  • BA/BS Degree in marketing/finance or equivalent quantitative field

  • Passion for games and the players who love them, with genuine curiosity about the evolving landscape of performance media and entertainment marketing; understanding the culture and community of FC is a strong plus. 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$150,100 - $228,000 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
