Job Summary
Join us at Electronic Arts (EA), where our mission is to inspire the world to play. As a Senior Solutions Architect - HR Technology, you will serve as a hands-on HR Technical Solution Architect for EA's global people technology ecosystem. You will lead the architecture, design, integration strategy, and responsible adoption of modern HR technology solutions across Workday, Talent Acquisition, data platforms, and AI-enabled HR experiences.
You will bring deep expertise in Workday integrations and the broader Workday ecosystem, with strong understanding of Talent Acquisition platforms such as Avature, enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, and downstream HR, payroll, benefits, identity, finance, analytics, and vendor systems. You will also help identify, evaluate, and deliver Generative AI solutions, including SaaS-based AI capabilities and custom-built LLM or agentic solutions, that improve HR operations, recruiting, employee experience, integration delivery, and people data insights.
Role Focus
- Own HR technology solution architecture across Workday, Avature, Snowflake, GenAI capabilities, and the wider HR systems ecosystem.
- Create integration and data patterns that are secure, reusable, scalable, observable, and aligned to enterprise architecture and responsible AI standards.
- Translate business problems from People Experience, Talent Acquisition, IT, Security, Finance, Legal, Privacy, and vendors into durable technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the HR Technical Solution Architect for EA's global people systems, with Workday as the core HR platform and primary system of record for people data.
- Architect, design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Report-as-a-Service, Calculated Fields, Workday APIs, REST/SOAP web services, XML, XSLT, JSON, and secure file-based patterns.
- Define scalable integration architecture across Workday and adjacent HR platforms, including Avature for Talent Acquisition, payroll, benefits, learning, identity, finance, data warehouse, analytics, and vendor systems.
- Lead discovery, evaluation, architecture, and delivery of Generative AI solutions for HR, including both SaaS-based AI capabilities and custom-built LLM, chatbot, workflow automation, and agentic solutions.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Privacy, Security, Data, and Enterprise Architecture teams to identify high-value GenAI use cases, define success metrics, assess risks, and establish responsible AI controls.
- Architect secure GenAI data patterns that can leverage Workday, Avature, Snowflake, knowledge bases, case data, and policy content while protecting sensitive employee and candidate information.
- Partner & guide GenAI solution design across areas such as core HR processes, employee self-service, HR case management, HR knowledge search, integration monitoring, documentation generation, data quality insights, and analytics assistance.
- Establish architecture standards for APIs, event-driven integrations, batch processing, error handling, monitoring, reconciliation, observability, security, privacy, model/vendor governance, and operational support.
- Evaluate and integrate HR technology solutions across the Workday ecosystem, including Workday HCM, Recruiting, Extend, Prism, Orchestrate, Workday Agents, security, business processes, and release impacts where applicable.
- Design and support HR data pipelines, data models, and reporting integrations using Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms, including ETL/ELT, SQL, data quality, lineage, governance, and AI-ready data foundations
- Prototype and productionize practical automation using tools such as Workday Agents, Gemini, Claude, or similar platforms, ensuring solutions are secure, maintainable, auditable, and aligned with EA policies.
- Mentor a team of integration developers and engineers, promoting technical excellence, architecture discipline, responsible AI adoption, inclusive leadership, and alignment with EA's mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of hands-on experience in HR technology, Workday integrations, enterprise application architecture, or people systems architecture within a global environment.
