This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

We are looking for a Senior Quality Designer I with expertise in AI-driven quality assurance solutions to lead testing strategies, promote technical innovation, and foster team growth. You will orchestrate quality processes, implement modern AI in testing solutions, and mentor a distributed team to deliver high software and game quality. You will be a critical contributor to EA's Quality Verification (QV) craft, collaborating across multiple locations and disciplines to ensure the highest standards of quality for our products. You will report to the Development Director.

Location: On Site - Bogota, Colombia.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Testing and Automation Leadership: Implement complex testing and automation strategies aligned with company priorities, applying AI tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency.

  • Quality Process Ownership: Define, implement, and oversee robust quality processes that promote excellence across projects, ensuring understanding of product and business goals.

  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Conduct in-depth investigations, root cause analyses, and data-driven evaluations to identify opportunities for quality improvements and support informed decision-making.

  • AI-Driven Innovation: Architect, lead, and deliver successful AI implementations, machine learning applications, or data science projects within a QV/QA context, resulting in measurable improvements to quality, efficiency, or player experience.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with development, production, and other teams to address product and business challenges, ensuring time zones support.

  • Quality Metrics and Reporting: Align and report important quality metrics, progress, and challenges to the Development Director, ensuring adherence to goals and timelines.

  • Team Growth and Mentorship: Manage team growth by mentoring team members, leading quality design community goals, and promoting improvements, including the integration of AI knowledge and tools.

  • Strategic Communication: Facilitate effective communication between all partners to keep delivery and quality projects on track.


Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in quality assurance.

  • Confidence to speak directly to others at different levels and provide direction in area of expertise.

  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment across many locations/time zones.

  • Experience in leadership roles and mentoring QV teams.

  • Experience implementing AI-Driven Testing solutions.

  • Experience translating project metrics into data-driven decisions and strategies
