Sr Solutions Lead

Hyderabad


The ideal candidate for the Sr Solutions Lead, PE Systems & Technology role at Electronic Arts is a dynamic, innovative hands on professional with deep technical expertise in HR technologies and a passion for driving impactful solutions. You thrive in ambiguous environments, excel at collaborating across teams, and are motivated to innovate the future of EA’s PE technology stack through experimentation and mentorship. You will lead, mentor and collaborate with a high performing engineering team through coaching & feedback. 


The Senior Solutions Architect, PE Systems & Technology is a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping and advancing EA’s People Experience technology architecture. This role combines deep technical expertise, enterprise solution design, and hands-on execution to modernize and evolve our HR technology ecosystem.


You will operate as a technical thought leader across platforms, drive innovation beyond off-the-shelf capabilities, and architect scalable, AI-enabled solutions across the employee lifecycle. You will influence architectural standards, guide engineering teams through DevOps-driven delivery models, and serve as a role model for technical excellence and innovation



**Required Skills**


- Enterprise-level solution architecture expertise, including designing scalable, extensible, and loosely coupled systems that integrate SaaS platforms with custom-built capabilities for People Experience (PE) systems

- Deep techno-functional expertise in HR technology ecosystems (e.g., Workday, Avature, or similar platforms), with the ability to extend beyond vendor-delivered capabilities through integrations, custom services, and emerging technologies. 

- Experience driving product delivery within a DevOps or product-centric operating model

- Understanding of CI/CD, API-first architectures, microservices, and cloud-native design principles. 

- Ability to partner with engineering teams to establish technical standards, code quality practices, and release governance

- Hands-on experience implementing Gen AI solutions across the employee lifecycle

- Proficiency with database technologies such as Snowflake

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business partners, engineering teams, and other solution leads

- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to navigate and clarify ambiguous or incomplete requirements

- Proven ability to drive innovation, foster experimentation, and lead teams toward new and creative technology solutions

- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to act as a force multiplier within cross-functional teams

- Proven ability to challenge conventional approaches and introduce innovative architectural patterns

- Experience evaluating and piloting emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, automation, intelligent workflows) to create differentiated employee experiences

- Comfort operating in build-vs-buy tradeoff environments. - Drive roadmap execution, establish best practices, ensure quality and reliability fostering a culture of innovation, ownership,  continuous discovery & continuous development.  

- Serves as a technical role model, setting standards for design quality, documentation, code review practices, and architectural governance

- Acts as a force multiplier by elevating engineering maturity and fostering a culture of ownership and innovation



**Experience**


- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise solution architecture, with significant ownership of large-scale HR technology ecosystems

- Demonstrated experience influencing architectural direction across multiple teams or domains

- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives from architecture through production in a DevOps or product operating model

- Proven ability to act as a technical mentor and thought leader without formal people management responsibility. 

- Experience working in fast-paced, innovative environments and contributing to a culture of experimentation. 



**Education & Certifications**


- Bachelor’s  or Masters degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 

- Demonstrated experience as a hands-on architect leading multiple concurrent, enterprise-scale initiatives end-to-end.

- Preferred: Certifications in Gen AI from leading providers such as Google, Amazon, or Microsoft


**Additional Qualifications**


- Ability to identify and bridge gaps between industry solutions and EA’s technology stack

- Passion for shaping an innovative, collaborative culture within the organization

- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams across EA IT and business units. 


**What Success Looks like**

In your first 12 months, you will:

- Establish a forward-looking PE architecture blueprint

- Modernize at least one major system through AI-driven or integration-based innovation

- Improve delivery velocity through DevOps enablement

- Elevate architectural standards and documentation practices
