EA Create APAC is looking for a Studio Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day operations at our Kuala Lumpur studio. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient studio operations by coordinating logistics, managing processes, and supporting cross-team needs.

You will play a key role in enabling teams to focus on delivering high-quality work by ensuring operational excellence behind the scenes. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, reliable, and enjoys making things run smoothly.


Key Responsibilities


Studio Operations & Onboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding logistics for new hires (contracts, equipment, tools, system access)
  • Partner with Facilities to manage workspace setup, seating arrangements, and office moves
  • Help maintain a professional, well-functioning studio environment

Team Coordination & Engagement

  • Plan and execute team events (e.g., team-building activities, leadership visits, holiday events)
  • Manage and distribute promotional merchandise (swag) and employee engagement initiatives

Finance & Procurement

  • Process purchase requests, vendor contracts, and invoices
  • Track expenses and ensure timely and accurate payment processing

IT, Tools & Logistics

  • Partner with IT to proactively manage hardware and software needs
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments and deliveries

Process Coordination & Compliance

  • Manage workflows for legal approvals and NDA requests
  • Collaborate with Shanghai team to support coordination and improve operational processes
  • Promote and support studio-level initiatives within the Kuala Lumpur office


Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of experience in operations, office coordination, or administrative roles in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese (required for cross-location collaboration)
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of reliability and accountability
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, and proactively solve problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to quickly learn new tools and systems
  • Experience in the video game industry or a passion for gaming is a plus
