Reports To: Enterprise Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary:

Join us at Electronic Arts and help us inspire the world to play by supporting the technology behind our iconic franchises. As a Systems Engineer - Infrastructure Operations, you will report to the Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure and work onsite with our Vancouver team. You will collaborate with us to maintain, improve, and secure our large-scale enterprise infrastructure, ensuring our teams can create unforgettable player experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • You will support and monitor VMware and OpenShift platforms, ensuring reliable infrastructure for our global teams.
  • You will administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux systems, resolving incidents and service requests with us.
  • You will perform data center activities, including hardware installation, upgrades, inventory management, and lifecycle support.
  • You will create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures, contributing to our automation efforts using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations, or data center operations within an enterprise environment.
  • Experience supporting VMware virtualization technologies and administering Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar automation tools to improve infrastructure reliability.
  • Understanding of enterprise infrastructure concepts, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and container platforms.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$114,300 - $156,200 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
 In Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
