The Technical Director will report to the Senior Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical direction and development processes for mobile game projects and services

  • Manage a team of engineers, promoting continuous improvement and collaboration across disciplines and locations

  • Guide teams to align and accomplish development goals

  • Align with leaders and peers across locations on technical priorities

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering

  • 3+ years in a technical leadership role

  • Experienced with mobile game development, web development, and performance optimization

  • Programming skills and expertise in software design, algorithms, and data structures

  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, continuous integration, road mapping, and prioritisation

Bonus

  • 3+ years of experience developing mobile software or web services

  • Background using metrics and analytics to determine the quality or priority

  • Comfortable working across client and server codebases

  • Passion for making and playing games
