This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).
Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) Engineering at EA ensures game excellence, providing insights into game readiness and player experience through advanced software solutions. We're developing an internal platform (QTP) to enhance tool delivery for QVS engineering teams.
The group of teams responsible for QTP are looking for a Technical Product Owner to lead its roadmap and product strategy. Reporting to the Director of QVS Technology Foundations you will span both the infrastructure automation and developer experience layers of the platform. Working as an individual contributor, you will define a cohesive product strategy that meets the evolving needs of our internal users. You'll partner with architects, engineers, and delivery leads to prioritize work and communicate progress to our customers.
Responsibilities:
You will lead a unified product backlog for the Quality Technology Platform
You will define and prioritize user stories that reflect user needs, platform capabilities, and our priorities
You will liaise between platform users and the engineering team.
You will gather feedback, summarize insights, and translate them into roadmap priorities
Facilitate trade-off discussions to balance short-term delivery with long-term product vision
Work with platform architects to ensure roadmap alignment with technical design
Partner with the delivery manager to coordinate work streams and manage dependencies
You will lead roadmap reviews, demos, and internal updates to partners and leadership.
You will partner with our onboarding team to create user-facing documentation that supports adoption and understanding
You will use usage metrics and developer feedback to iterate and improve the platform over time
Qualifications / Skills:
8+ years in product management or related experience in software development.
Experience building product strategy and delivery for complex software platforms or developer-facing tools.
Expertise with internal developer tooling, UX principles, and automation strategies.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including backlog management and iteration planning
Experience managing cross-functional efforts involving infrastructure and developer experience.
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (e.g. GitLab CI).
Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences for both technical and non-technical audiences
