About the Role

The Threat Intelligence Unit (TIU) at Electronic Arts is looking for a Threat Intelligence and Detection Analyst Intern. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to EA’s threat detection and intelligence capabilities while gaining real-world experience in cybersecurity. The role is designed as a direct pipeline to a potential full-time Threat Intelligence Analyst position.

What You’ll Do

  • Research novel adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) not yet covered by existing detection logic.

  • Develop actionable detection opportunities and collaborate with the Detections team on implementation.

  • Assist with intelligence operations, including:

    • Developing and maintaining reports and indicators.

    • Supporting collection, monitoring, and triage.

    • Participating in cross-team reviews and engagements.

  • Present research findings and partner with EA Security teams to strengthen defenses.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as intrusion techniques, malware, detection engineering, or threat intelligence.

  • Strong research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

  • Interest in adversary behaviors, emerging threats, and detection development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK or similar frameworks.

  • Hands-on experience with detection tools, log analysis, or threat intelligence platforms.

You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2026.

At this time, we are considering Undergrad students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2026, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2026. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
