Rendering Software Engineer - C++ (Talent Pool)

We are EA's game development studio based in Seoul, known for the FC Online series, a AAA sports game, Need for Speed Online and MLB Online. EA Korea Studio, armed with its unparalleled development capability for authentic graphic and diverse content that reflects lifelike football experience, is a large development organization in which Game Designers, Artists, Software Engineers, Development Directors, and Producers work together throughout the entire game development process, from production to live service.

EA Korea Studio adheres to EA's global systematic and documented development process throughout the whole production process, from development planning to game design confirmation, visual direction setting and implementation to QA. At the same time, EA Korea Studio makes improvements based on the feedback from those who participate in the development process by streamlining our processes and pursuing optimization.

 

  • You will be reporting to our Development director.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop a high-quality rendering system for the AAA game using Frostbite, the EA-specific engine.

  • You will provide meaningful solutions through close collaboration between software engineers and artists.

  • You will optimize with performance profiling.

  • You will fix several rendering issues.

Qualifications

 
  • You have 7+ years of experience in related fields

  • You have knowledge of real-time computer graphics

  • You have C/C++, data design, and software architecture skills

  • You have expertise in performance profiling and optimization

  • You have experience developing a low-level rendering function using DX12 or Vulkan, and knowledge

  • You have collaboration skills and understanding of development processes
