VP, Advertising and Sponsorships

As Vice President of EA Advertising & Sponsorships, reporting to the SVP & Managing Director EA Experiences, you will  define the enterprise-level advertising strategy across EA’s portfolio of products. You will pioneer in this growing revenue stream, maximizing value across EA’s experiences and consumer touch points through B2B advertising and sponsorship activations. You will be the top-down, long-term strategic visionary and bottoms-up execution-focused growth operator. You will accelerate the growth, innovation and transformation of our advertising business through the following:

    Define the holistic advertising strategy for us, incorporating EA’s world-class portfolio including our games, apps, websites, esports activations, events, experiences, technologies and more.

    Build and manage a team that delivers material growth in advertising and sponsorships revenue over the next 3+ years

    Develop advertising monetization strategies that deliver growth and have a positive consumer experience

    Advance and mature capabilities around advertising tech, analytics, sales, operations and product management/game integration to support scale and accelerated growth

Responsibilities:

Expert Leadership

    Shape company transformation through advertising innovation

    Pioneer within interactive entertainment to define and accelerate advertising opportunities 

    Lead Advertising & Sponsorships team inclusive of capabilities across: 1) Advertising Technology, 2) Advertising Data & Analytics, 3) Advertising & Sponsorships Sales, 4) Advertising & Sponsorships Operations, and 5) Advertising & Sponsorships Product Management

Advertising & Sponsorships Strategy

    Evaluate and refine the 3-year advertising & sponsorships strategy across the totality of EA’s experiences

    Develop plans to maximize advertising revenue, while ensuring a positive consumer experience

    Set and achieve annual revenue targets and OKRs

    Manage team goals, budgets, and return on investment considerations

Technology, Data & Analytics

    Refine the 3-year roadmap for advertising tech solutions

    Collaborate with central tech partners on growth plans

    Promote the development of IAB-supported advertising and analytics solutions across the portfolio

    Establish the long-term data and analytics processes and roadmap

Sales & Operations

    Establish strategy and best practices for outsourcing sales support in addition to internal direct sales team

    Ensure seamless partnerships with Legal, Finance, and other support departments

    Product Management

    Deliver the long-range planning framework for implementation of advertising capabilities into the totality of EA's experiences

Your Qualifications:

    10+ years of experience leading multi-functional advertising teams

    Experience managing digital advertising businesses within social networks, ecommerce or interactive entertainment

    Established new advertising business - from strategy through to successful implementation; built new advertising teams

    Scaled advertising businesses

    Experience managing advertising technology teams, with demonstrated expertise in managing senior technical resources

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $245,000 - $325,000 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
