The Challenge Ahead:

The compensation team comprises trusted consultants to our People Experience (PE) partners and the business leaders at EA. It designs and implements compensation programs across EA globally. Through conferences, research, networking, and ongoing development opportunities, we stay at the forefront of market trends and marry our knowledge of market practice with the unique needs of our business to create and maintain compelling compensation programs that attract, engage, reward, and retain EA’s talent.

Description

You will be a strategic advisor and consultant to PE leaders / PE partners to guide and meet complex business and talent needs. You will advise on the implementation, communication, and administration of our global programs and help develop /evolve projects with support from a team of PE Partners, HRIT, global compensation team members, and PE centers of excellence (recruiting, learning, analytics). You will report to the Director, Global Compensation Partners, and on our team, we also work as project team members on other compensation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary consultant for the assigned business unit(s), with a focus on the APAC region. 

  • Provide strategic advice on compensation practices and the pay landscape both internally and externally.

  • Establish and nurture consultative and collaborative relationships with PE partners, business leaders, and team members to educate managers and employees on compensation programs and initiatives.

  • Provide creative compensation recommendations and solutions aligned with EA’s business strategy, compensation philosophy, and culture.

  • Design, oversee, and implement compensation programs with an understanding of fulfilling our business needs and influencing the global employee base.

  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to develop competitive offer packages, ensuring fair and strategic application of compensation policies.

  • Drive and assist in the planning and delivery of the annual Merit, Bonus, and Equity cycle (Focal)

  • Lead or contribute to multiple other projects related to compensation or overall global total reward programs.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a related field

  • 7+ years of compensation experience in a client-facing role

  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to manage close working relationships with multiple partners, including senior executives, line management, and peers.

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing compensation programs (including expertise in salary structure design and implementation of broad-based short and long-term compensation programs)

  • Proven track record of managing large projects, including communications and change management

  • Advanced Excel skills(can perform complex functions) and data modeling/analytics capability
