Lead Product Manager - SDK

As the Lead Product Manager for the SDK Team within EADP, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that game developers across EA are able to create world-class gaming experiences. You will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of SDK-related products that provide a uniform, modern, and compelling developer experience. Reporting to a Director of Product Management, this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and leadership skills as you work across service domains, collaborate with engineering teams, and interact with EA studios.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and drive the vision and strategy for SDK products. Ensure alignment with EADP's overall goals and the needs of EA's game teams.
- Product Roadmap: Develop and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that balances short-term and long-term goals. Prioritize features based on customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to shape the technical architecture and design decisions, ensuring the creation of scalable and robust SDKs.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including game teams, to understand their needs and ensure successful product integration.
- Innovation: Use metrics, user feedback, and industry trends to guide ongoing innovation and refinement of SDK offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in product management. At least 3 years working on developer-facing products such as SDKs, developer tools, or platforms.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise solutions or services.
- Strong technical acumen with experience in microservices architecture, REST and gRPC APIs, cloud technologies, and developer platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with game development and understanding of the gaming industry.
- Background in software engineering.
- Experience with social features in games or other digital platforms.

If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $133,400 - $193,200 CAD
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
