We are hiring a Data Quality and analytics Intern for our innovative and dynamic Localization Data and AI team. Our mission is to ensure high-quality data solutions across multiple projects, including dashboards, player telemetry, and algorithm/model validations. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for data, quality assurance, and technology and a keen eye for detail. 

As an intern at EA, you will work closely with our team to ensure the coherence, functionality, and quality of the data solutions we deliver. To identify and resolve defects you will review dashboards, data models, and algorithms, ensuring they meet our high standards of accuracy and consistency. You will gain experience in QA processes, collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers, and contribute to improving the localization efforts across EA. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Review and ensure the quality of dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) and data visualizations for internal stakeholders 
  • Assist in analyzing application performance and functionality of algorithms and machine learning models developed by the team 
  • Perform functional and unit tests for each deployment as well as final checks on data integrity across our systems, ensuring consistency and coherence 
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to identify and troubleshoot potential issues in data solutions 
  • Support the development of automated QA processes for data pipelines and models 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the reliability of our data solutions 
  • Document test results and create detailed bug reports to communicate QA findings and present results to team members and stakeholders

Qualifications: 

  • Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related STEM field 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
  • Experience with Power BI, Excel and SQL 
  • Familiarity with machine learning models and their validation processes 
  • Basic understanding of agile methodology, software testing principles and methodologies 
  • Knowledge of Python  
  • A strong interest in Quality Assurance for data projects 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams 
  • A passion for gaming and data-driven solutions is a plus 
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus  
  • Proficiency in English
