EA serves millions of players with multi-genre online experiences with Live Services. Games of the last decade continue to entertain and engage audiences with new titles launching each year. The common need across all game experiences is modern personalization approaches that improve player experiences, using the latest Machine Learning technologies to retrofit and enhance game features, game systems, and game mechanics. We are looking for a Machine Learning engineer who will work amidst unique technologies to deliver in-game Personalization by building global-scale production systems. You will report to the technical director of AI/ML. If you have experience creating advanced analytics data products to allow partners to make crucial decisions, you want to make impacts to help player engagement by providing an autonomous platform; then we want to talk to you.

The Data & Analytics (DnA) function brings both quantitative and qualitative insights to the entire company (including all game teams) through Studio Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering. We develop our Studio’s data technical capabilities to bring data insights right to the studio partners' fingertips.

As an intern in our team, you'll collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other partners to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of machine learning models and data pipelines. You'll support the deployment, testing, and monitoring of machine learning workflows, ensuring that they meet the highest standards for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Enforce the application of best practices in MLOps and ML model production.

  2. Improve production-ready ML models.

  3. Design, construct, and maintain production ML systems.

  4. Work with team members for efficient deployment and scalability of ML models.

  5. Stay updated with the latest technology and platforms and guide the MLE team in the use of new technologies.

Requirements:

  1. You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

  2. You have comprehensive knowledge in Machine Learning, MLOps practices, and ML model production.

  3. You have knowledge in designing and maintaining ML systems, developing production-ready ML models.

  4. You have knowledge of the latest technology and platforms in the field such as AWS SageMaker, Airflow, Docker, CI/CD practices, ...

As a Machine Learning Operations Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience with the full lifecycle of machine learning model deployment and operations. You'll help build systems that power next-generation players experiences while learning from industry experts and contributing to projects across EA.

At this time, we are considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2025, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2025. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 16-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
