Associate Producer - EA SPORTS™ FC

Reporting to a Lead Producer, the FC Live Associate Producer works with the content production, product management, art, and quality verification teams to guide the ongoing creation of the compelling live content that the FC player craves.

They will be an expert in the gaming landscape with experience in live service and be passionate about applying that knowledge to improving the present and future of EA SPORTS FC.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a team of Content producers translating real-world football events into live content ideas/plans
  • Develop live content plans and strategies that retain and engage players, based on data you have collected from dashboards, peers or through other research.
  • Foster partnerships and meaningful relationships with our Product Management team and other partner teams across FC
  • Work directly in custom tools to create, verify, and publish live content to our players.
  • Set an example of dedication and pride in your work, ensuring all content is at the expected quality standards while navigating deadlines, targets and priority changes.
  • Be an expert on the game and our community, drawing from our large, varied player base and our past games to make and defend intelligent choices going forward.
  • Possess a keen ability to develop and enhance processes for the convenience and efficiency of the Content Production team

 

Qualifications:

  • An experienced Producer or Product Manager with 5+ years of experience in game production, live service management, entertainment, or technology-focused roles.
  • A love of working with a diverse group of people to accomplish something great as a team.
  • Familiar with Scrum and Agile development concepts.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform planning and decisions.
  • Experience in building staged product plans, including the creation of user stories and deliverables.
  • Understanding of A/B testing methodology.
  • An understanding of the core mechanics of Ultimate Team and other core game modes within FC and knowledge of best practices in live service games.
  • Familiar with football (soccer) as a sport, including players, teams and leagues from the men's and women's game.
  • A wide knowledge of the games market including live service best practices. 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $89,300 - $123,000 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and after 3 months of service - extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
