Role Overview
Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is crucial in providing strategic partnership to leaders across EA.
We are looking for a proactive and passionate analyst to join The Sims FP&A team. As part of the Sims FP&A team, you will support The Sims studio team and central technology. This hybrid role, defined as 3 or more days in the office, reports to The Sims FP&A Manager.
What You’ll Do
- Partner effectively with our team and assigned business partners.
- Support financial reviews with budget owners to develop annual plans.
- Ensure up-to-date forecast revisions, including variance investigation (opex, HC, capex).
- Manage all month-end close activities under remit, including accrual and reclass entries.
- Ensure compliance with EA’s policies and procedures.
Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related financial experience.
- Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of audiences.
- Proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge.
- MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
- Knowledge of Anaplan, PowerBI, and Oracle or similar systems.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
