We are seeking a Senior Development Director to lead North American Delivery QV for the Battlefield Franchise.  You will report to the Head of Delivery & Operations for Battlefield QV as part of a dynamic team of Leaders driving an important strategic pillar for EA.  You will support a diverse team focused on ensuring the quality of Battlefield exceeds players expectations. Our team are integrated partners in the Battlefield product development organization, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Quality across every Battlefield experience.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced change leader who is passionate about driving game quality to join the Battlefield QV Team.  You will be working closely with QV Leaders across multiple Studios to help improve the player experience, successfully deliver to our players and focus on operationalizing our multi year strategy.

You can collaborate, often across departments and with peers or partners in other parts of the business across different geographical locations. Your greatest strengths are building relationships and project delivery to achieve clear outcomes. You like to be challenged and driving toward future possibilities excites you.

Responsibilities

  • The strategic delivery of a AAA Live Service ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met by all teams

  • Evolution, support and growth of a robust team of QV Leaders

  • Proactively identifying, reporting and solving project risks

  • Communication and reporting mechanisms in context of Clarity and Actionable outcomes

  • QV evolution focused on defect prevention/containment, test automation and effective collaboration as well as innovative solutions and initiatives

  • Lead execution of objectives across multiple disciplines with focus on value for Battlefield

  • Raise the bar for Delivery and a Leadership mindset across other leaders

Qualifications

  • Owned and delivered game projects of large-scale and complexity.

  • 10+ years of project management experience in a game development setting

  • Experience leading project execution and communicating with senior leadership

  • Experience navigating and coordinating across a variety of teams and organizations both locally and remote

  • Experience operating autonomously and escalating when needed

  • Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills to report project status

  • Experience using metrics to identify and measure improvements

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools

  • PC and Console experience desirable

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $185,300 - $278,800 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
