The Fan Growth organization is seeking a Portfolio Manager. 


Responsibilities: 


How does the Portfolio Manager help make great experiences for fans? 

They:

  • Manage large-scale cross-functional and global projects 

    • Own all project documentation and ensure completion, socialization, and historical integrity

    • Make decisions that affect the project's outcome 

    • Evaluate options, assess and forward manage all risks, and make choices about the best course of action to deliver within timeline and quality standards

    • Proactively Ttrack progress including risk mitigation, deadlines, etc and manage stakeholder expectations 

    • Ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues

    • Conduct project retrospectives, learnings and project closures

  • Partner on the development and delivery of priorities

    • Thought partner with vertical portfolio leaders to facilitate the development of the strategy, alignment of priorities, and tracking and reporting of goals

    • Advocate for the portfolio in cross-vertical steering to help the team focus on achieving goals

    • Partner on the creation of business cases for investment

    • Manage dependencies and risks

  • Identify opportunities and develop plans to optimize resource utilization

    • Work across the vertical leadership teams to connect and coordinate work 

    • Oversee and influence project management support across portfolio

    • Maintain line of sight to the work across the portfolio, to effectively guide the assigned project manager resources

    • Ensure consistency in project management practices across the portfolio including documentation and communication

  • Oversee and facilitate the rhythm of the business for the portfolio products, projects, OKRs and initiatives

    • Help set the standard for business cases, reports and other deliverables

    • Generate reporting and portfolio communications

    • Coordinate the development of assets that cut across the portfolio

    • Partner on developing and maintaining a rhythm of the business for cyclical or recurring activities

    • Create and maintain all portfolio roadmaps 

    • Manage new project intake,  backlog and facilitate portfolio steering with leaders

  • Experienced project manager - you’ve led large cross-functional projects, familiar with project management methodologies and tools such as Google Suite, Jaas, Smartsheet and Airtable
