As a Director of Product Management, you will work with a large but tight-knit team of enthusiastic industry craftspeople from all walks of life, united by their love for The Sims. You will lead the PM team that is developing for the future of The Sims. You will do this by combining insights from market trends, UX research, and player feedback to develop insights and identify product opportunities. You will then partner with the design, production, and marketing teams to shape these insights into product solutions that exceed goals.
Location: Hybrid three days a week (Kirkland, Redwood City, Austin, or Vancouver)
You will report to the franchise leadership of The Sims.
Responsibilities:
Lead the product roadmap
Create and lead product planning that drives our primary OKRs: acquisition, engagement, player satisfaction, and more.
Lead a team of highly capable Product Managers to be strong contributors.
Your team will identify and prioritize strategies, and then work with the Executive Producer and Production teams to deliver.
Collaborate with peers and partners, and present plans, updates and presentations.
Work with data, and through the analytical output of others to make data driven decisions.
Remain current and build an understanding within your team about the latest in industry and product trends, titles, and best in class mechanics. Use this to inform compelling strategies.
Qualifications:
Experience launching a world-class gaming product or initiative.
Experience working within the Mobile gaming space.
Influential, and able to work through peers and stakeholders.
Effective at prioritizing competing needs.
Live Ops planning experience, and an understanding of what it takes to engage and bring players back day after day. History of developing talent and leading a team of high performers.
Master's degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
4+ years of gaming industry experience.
6+ years of experience in Product Management and/or strategy/planning.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
