Summary

You will be part of the Platform Development team, reporting to a senior manager, and your role will

be to:

● Participate in the planning and development of our Infrastructure platforms. This includes

conducting assessments and gathering requirements, designing system improvements, and

integrating new technologies.

● Contribute to the development and optimization of our backend and frontend services to

build functional and efficient infrastructure applications.

● Ensure the scalability and reliability of systems to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities

● Play an integral role in the team responsible for the major build-out of functionality on the

infrastructure platforms, services and associated backend infrastructure.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

● Manage specific aspects of the buildout, which includes planning and communicating with

senior stakeholders.

● Prepare documentation, provide guidance, conduct code reviews, and offer mentorship to

elevate the skills of the team and the quality of our projects.

● Continuously explore and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.

● Troubleshoot and resolve issues across various environments and platforms.


Qualifications

● Technical skills

○ Comprehensive understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

○ Minimum 5 years of expertise in Python, including at least one popular Python

framework.

○ Minimum 5 years of practical experience with web frameworks for building RESTful

APIs in Python, such as Django or FastAPI.

○ Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

○ Minimum 5 years of practical experience in DevOps and Infrastructure roles.

○ Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and automation tools.

○ Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.

○ Experience with SQL/no-SQL databases.

○ Experience with Cloud Technologies, such as Azure or AWS.

○ Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, like Docker or

Kubernetes.

○ Familiarity with Linux systems, equivalent to LPIC-2.

○ Knowledge of security best practices in software development.

○ Familiarity with general IT infrastructure topics: Virtualization, Storage, Networking,

etc.
